Our Story
The story begins with a young boy doing chemistry experiments in his basement, sometimes making clouds of smoke or acrid odors. It goes from soldering circuits, programming computers, and eventually to building lab equipment and lasers in grad school and two postdocs. All along the way, led by a boundless curiosity about how things work and how to make new things that don't yet exist. And how to help others grow, learn, and discover.
